Fober Citigroup CEO Vikram Pandit is now making waves all across the cryptoverse with his recent statements about the future of crypto and banking.
In a shocking expose with Bloomberg’s own Haslinda Amin, Pandit told her that, “Every large bank and/or securities firm is going to actively think about ‘shouldn’t I also be trading and selling cryptocurrency assets'”.
And while crypto-outsiders may doubt his assessment, the development is already taking shape in many big banks.
Just this past week, the Commonwealth Bank of Australia’s main bank said that its clients would be allowed to trade cryptocurrencies in the next few weeks.
How soon do you think major banks will allow crypto trading?
